Sian Norris

Sian Norris is a Bristol-based writer. Since 2007 she has run the successful feminist and political blog, Sian and Crooked Rib. Previous to this, she created the Crooked Rib zine series.

Sian has had fiction published in Tall Tales from the Big Smoke, Cadaverine, the thing is, among other places. Her non-fiction writing has been published in the Guardian, The New Statesman, and Indy Voices.

She is the founder and director of The Bristol Women's Literature Festival. Sian is passionate about encouraging children and young people to read, and in her spare time runs creative workshops to get children reading and writing.

Greta and Boris: A daring rescue is her first book, inspired by her love of adventure, and, of course, cats.
